Ole Henriksen: Truth Serum Collagen Booster

I spend a lot of time mixing and matching skincare products, because who doesn't want to try out the latest *must try* skin saviour on the market?! I'm easily enticed by all the claims to heighten the glowiness. Sod that glow from within business.

This is one product that I've gone back to more times than I can count. I first got one of their travel size bottles - which more companies really should do. It's better than a sample size. It lets you really know if it's doing something for your skin, or just something that smells quite nice -- I'm looking at you Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Oil.

Anyways, it is a product that you can see a difference when you apply it. It's meant to have loads of vitamin C and a load of other great stuff to protect your skin and help keep it hydrated. It smells of oranges which is always lush to wake up to. And it absorbs very quickly. So if you're a makeup type girl (or boy) there's no wait time before you get your slap on and out the door.

One draw back is the price. Although reasonble enough for a good quality serum, if you look at the prices in North America compared to here in the UK it's criminial. It's basically twice as much. If you lurk around TK Maxx shops it'll occassionally appear in there -- although I'll have bought them out of their stock before you get there. And at Christmas, shops like Debenhams had great offers on this serum paired with some of the other fab Ole Henriksen products. It's really a brand you can't really go wrong with if you do try this serum and wondered about anything else.
