Kate Somerville: Nourish Daily Moisturizer

Like everyone it seems, I heard about Kate Somerville through the rave reviews of other beaury bloggers and YouTubers. Am assuming most of them got the Goat's milk moisturiser as a PR sample as it's by far and away the most popular product - at least if those online reviews are anything to go by.

Anyways, one of my very best friends was lovely enough to send me the Nourish Daily Moisturiser for my birthday last year. And it's quickly become one of my favourite moisturisers ever. I've never been overly loyal to one but will be re-purchasing this one it runs out.

It's light in texture, so perfect for the day but still leaves your skin feeling moisturised throughtout the day. Sometimes products absorb so much that by lunch it seems like any morning routine was all for nowt. Those who don't like fragranced skin care may not love this. It's infused with lavendar to 'calm and soothe distressed skin'. Which means it has a lovely spa-like scent.

Other good stuff in it? Something called Matrixyl™3000 which is meant to 'diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles' and Retinyl Palmitate which is a form of Vitamin A. And we all know Vitamin A is all about cell turnover and making your skin look all shiny and new. Well not shiny, but you know what I mean.

I noticed in some online reviews, people were not a fan of the packaging. But, I love how it dispenses. It's the perfect amount for face and skin. And even better its more hygenic rather than sticking your fingers into a pot. It should also keep the product in a better state as it's not constantly exposed to air.

If you're in the market for a new day cream, I would highly recommend this one! The only drawback is its availablity in the UK. You'll need to order for $65 USD from Kate Somerville directly or through Sephora order. I
