Nuxe: Reve de Miel - Ultra Nourishing Lip Balm with Honey

With the weather rapidly moving into the phase of sucking every ounce of moisture out of your body and leaving your lips a chapped mess, I thought I should probably share this little find with you. Nuxe’s Reve de Miel lip balm is a little golden pot of perfection.

Like many of you, I used to love carrying around those little pots of Vaseline lip therapy. And if truth be told, I still have them knocking about. That slippery feeling is mildly addictive - but it may not be the most hydrating of products. Like, the more you use it, the more it seems you have to use it - if that makes sense.
Cue RdM. I’d read about it as a favourite of many a beauty blogger and YouTuber but didn’t give it a go until I picked it up in a mad dash through a French pharmacy in Paris. Even using it the very first time, I could see why it seems to be a cult favourite.

It’s got a creamy texture and is matte in terms of finish. So not only does it work well at night as an overnight lip treatment. But because it’s matte and absorbs well into the lips, it’s perfect as a base for lipsticks. For an added treat it’s lush to apply after a lip scrub - like Fresh’s sugar lip polish.

For an added touch of luxe, the pot is glass. While their are lighter products to carry around with you on the go, it doesn’t look out of place on your nightstand. It's hydrating enough that you don't really need it throughout the day - assuming you're using lipstick, gloss, etc. It’s a lovely little luxury in packaging and product without the hefty price tag. You can pick it up at Boots for £9.50 - or stock up the next time you’re in Paris!
